I woke up around 10 AM this morning since my exam wasn’t until 1. After my studying yesterday, I was feeling prepared for the exam and was content with not studying any more. I ate my usual breakfast than went into relaxation mode.
I always try to do something that’s not studying right before an exam. I think once you get to a certain point, there’s only so much studying you can do. I like to watch Netflix or something so I’m more relaxed going into the exam. I will stress about a lot of stupid things, but I never stress over exams.
I was not super hungry, but I ate the last part of my giant sandwich for lunch before heading out. Now with a full stomach, I headed to campus with plans to get to the exam pretty early. We were taking it in one of the amphitheaters, which looks like a stereotypical lecture hall.
Exam Time
The exam was tough, but relatively fair. There was one portion of a question I didn’t know how to do, but the rest of it was doable. Nonetheless, I was just happy to be finally finished with finals and the spring semester.
After the exam, I headed to the BU office with some of my classmates. There were two BU planned activities for us today. The first was a street art tour of Grenoble and afterwards we would have a nice dinner with everyone at the BU office. There was about forty-five minutes before the art tour, so I played guitar in the office.
Around 4, everyone had arrived and we headed off on the tour. Grenoble is known for its street art and it is everywhere. It is a good mix of just normal graffiti and big murals that were done with permission. I see this art everyday while walking, but it was cool to have our guide explain a lot of it.

I enjoyed the tour a lot and we headed to the office afterwards. When we got back, all the food was out on the tables. There were large charcuterie platters, salads, and a ton of different cheeses.

Safe to say everyone had one last feast with all our favorite French foods. BU also got us a bunch of bottles of Rosé to have as well. Everyone was drinking, eating, and being merry. Everyone was getting very sentimental and it reminded a lot of those episodes every sitcom has where they show flashbacks.

We also gave Celine a nice card plus a ukulele for the BU office. Everyone chipped in for the gifts and signed the card. Once we finished with the dinner, everyone wanted to continue the fun at the bars.
I quickly headed home to change and grab some stuff. Our friend Kim’s brother was visiting and we planned to go to La Natation with him, Nick and Jonathan. It is our favorite bar and we wanted to get one last round of drinks and our free sausage.
After we all had a beer, we headed to Le Tord Boyaud to meet everyone else in our group. This bar is great for dancing. We got to the bar and I was impressed because almost everyone in our group was there. I got two bottles of the of the flavored wine to split with some people.
Everyone was having a great time dancing and it was a great way to spend one of our last nights in Grenoble. We started to get bored of the music, so we headed to Barberousse with everyone.

Barberousse was packed and playing some good music. Once again, everyone danced there hearts out. We probably stayed there for about two hours before I called it a night and walked home with Nick.

I will definitely miss being able to legally drink and go out to bars. I occasionally miss some of the house parties I go to at Boston, but its a nice change of pace to have bars as an option. If you want a chill night, you can got for just a round at a sit down place. If you want to go dancing, you can go to a more exciting bar. I have six months to go before I can legally drink in America. I’m sure that won’t hinder me too much though.
By the time I got back to my house, it was really late and I immediately headed to bed after chugging some water.
